New Client Protocol

A new client intake form will be provided to the client at the first massage session. Forms are also available to print off and fill out from the Forms tab. New clients will be asked to arrive twenty minutes early for their first session so that intake forms may be filled out if they have not already done so, and so that there is time to discuss health history between the practitioner and client without taking away from “table time”.

At the first visit, the client will receive a copy of the massage therapy policies and will be asked to sign the ”Agreement for Services” stating that the client has read the information, understands it, and agrees to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures stated and provided on the Waterland Wellness website.

If a new client has not filled out the intake form and has arrived at the scheduled beginning of a massage, time will be taken to fill out the intake form and to discuss health history prior to beginning the massage.  Therefore, the first massage may not last a full hour. The practitioner will discuss the client’s massage goals and create a treatment plan based on the client’s needs for that session, and subsequent sessions.

Note for Guests Utilizing Coupon Vouchers

Waterland Wellness welcomes your coupon website vouchers, however please be aware that this is a one person office and the schedule fills up quickly. Every effort will be made to make your visit a fantastic experience! At this time, there is no weekend coverage. Please take this into account when calling to make your appointment. Expired vouchers are worth the amount paid; usually $35. If an expired voucher is presented for payment, the remainder of the cost of the service is due at the time service is rendered.

Payment Policies

CASH, CREDIT CARD OR CHECK: Payment is expected at the time service is rendered. Cash, personal check or credit card, flex plan benefits cards are welcome.

COPAYS FOR INSURANCE PATIENTS- Any co-pay required by your insurance must be paid at the time of your appointment.

There is a $50 fee for any returned check in addition to the original payment amount.

24 Hour cancellation notice must be given (48 hours if weekend appointment).

There is a $35 charge for last minute cancellations with one grace waiver allowed annually for life’s little bumps in the road.

No Shows will be billed at the full self-pay rate and the one time annual grace waiver DOES NOT apply. We know you work hard and so do we. Please honor our time as we honor yours, and cancel the appointment if you can’t make it.

For Medical Massage patients, please note that insurance DOES NOT cover missed appointments. If you miss your scheduled session, or you are more than 15 minutes late and do not contact us, you will be billed the full self pay rate.
